At the 8:23 minute. What does that sign mean? Did she do it in purpose? It scared me…
she is actually a consummate artist, that is why all these years nobody even try to sing her song.
upon this rock, unshakeable kimgdom,no other name just to name few. . .
but i admit im waiting for her to sing " no more nights " by david phelps… i hope one day !
i love you sandi patty with the love of our LORD JESUS CHRIST
Thank you for editing in every second of her in the video. I am highly interested in her comments. The part about sreaming in the correct pitch was a very important piece of info. I have to scream (sing very loud) to get the correct pitch to some songs. My wife hates the loud singing, but I told her I can't hit the note if I don't have the "wind" velocity coming out of my throat to hit the high pitches.
Ok this may sound like an odd comment but… she looks amazing in that gorgeous blue dress. And she sounds amazing. It's amazing to think about how much pressure she was under in her twenties to perform… I mean, she catapulted into national fame so fast that I'm amazed she hung on at all. Way too much stress I can imagine… yet look at her now… so graceful! I saw her in concert in New Orleans with my mama when I was 10 years old and I'm 42 now. These old videos mean so much to my heart. I actually remember watching this live on TV when I was a kid. So cool.
She's close to 60 now, and STILL sounds this good! Very talented, and well trained in technique and preserving her voice.
She looks like a blonde Suzanne Sugarbaker…..which is not a bad thing, LOVE me some Designing Women!
Shes an Exceptionally talented performer, thanks for allowing your audience to see her on the big screen. Tom
Thanks for posting! I didn't start watching The Tonight Show until late 1986 once I got out of high school so I just missed seeing this when it first aired.
Thanks for posting. I was hoping to see her on Johnny Carson.
Wow she was great!
