The Mini is an extremely compact and light crossbow with the limbs in a vertical orientation. It’s available in multiple draw weights, and I chose the 125# limbs for the 325fps they generate on a 350gr arrow. Hickory Creek crossbows have some of the best triggers in archery, with a completely silent safety that won’t spook game at the moment of truth.

I wouldnt switch from my Excalibur X-bow !
WTF…… $750 for the mini
where can I get one of these
I recently purchased a Mini Vertical In-line Crossbow from Hickory Creek Archery. I viewed many of the videos and spoke with Jerry Goff, owner of HCA, and decided to make my purchase. I am so glad I did. This thing is the greatest archery product I've ever tried. I also had a leading brand crossbow that I hunted with this year. It's a good crossbow but very front heavy, heavy overall, and awkward to transport and handle in a tree stand. After using my mini I sold my other crossbow. I knew I'd never use it again. I learned very quickly how accurate the mini is while sighting it in. This bow is so awesome, maneuverable, light, and everything I was looking for in crossbow or any conventional bow. I'm 64 and thought I might have difficulty cocking this 150# bow. I had no difficulty at all. If that would be difficult, the poundage can easily be reduced by backing off he limb bolts. I would also like to say that Jerry Goff is extremely helpful and has provided the best customer support possible. I love my mini and will never shoot anything else. This thing is great!!! Rick :)
do you think there will ever be a reverse bow version?
Good review. Guess I'll lookup Hickory Creek.
Love it. However here in Australia crossbows are classified as prohibited weapons. and you need a permit to have one. The permit is very hard to obtain. Hell you need a license to have a bloody BB Gun. Never give up your rights America. Funny how we have the strictest gun laws in the world, but firearm crime has increased by 300%. since those laws came into effect. Firearm crime is out of control in Australia.
pretty cool, don't really care for it. rather use a recurve.
no reason to have this over a firearm…
how much do you get paid to do reviews. im not saying its wrong i just wanna know how much would it be
perfect for handicapped people!
how to shoot a crossbow like a gangsta
living in a country where people aren't bought up to shoot or kill things for no reason its really interesting to observe people like you and the things that turn you on like "bows guns an' other cool stuff". just an observation.
Top job TWANGnBANG well put together hope I can get one in the UK LOVE ITCheers Meat52689
I've watched a few of your videos and they have generally been entertaining and informative but this one just sounds like an advert. After 4:10 of superlatives and the exaggerated enthusiastic tone I gave up on this. I dare say this is a good bow but this wasn't a good review, it was a puff piece.
Are you Do It With Dans dad?
Dude its awesome!! I have to get one!!
you cannot just pick it up and shoot it with one hand….how would you pull the string back to do so?
Nobody needs that thing
I have a friend that has one of these and I am just not warming up to it very well. First of all I don't like the fact that the drawn string is so close to my face and upper-body. Im still trying to like it though so don't think I am bashing it because I am definitely not. This bow has some obvious advantages but unfortunately I just don't think they outweigh the cons. So as of right this minute I DONT LIKE IT but it is possible that it could grow on me. mmmMaybe?
