It was so long ago..you know he's thinking about Amy Grant ! Thank you for posting great song !!!
its so hard for me to say Gary Chapman, to someone describe the song, and they oh you mean Steven Curtis Chapman, im like no Gary Chapman, I so love the albums i could find that he sang, and would love so many more!! Gary you are the best, you brought me to religious music, and have kept me there!!!
Beautiful. Amazing voice.
great voice, nice tone
Is this his first hit as an a artist?
I love Gary's songs….
The second verse has been changed. It's originally "this ferris wheel just keeps on spinning round, playing mind games with the ground, can we stop this time or must we go again, I see you standing waiting just outside, come and get me off this ride…" about the cycle of his addiction and always trying to convince Amy to love him.
Gosh, I love this song!
Beautiful song, Tragic Gary's marriage to Amy ended.
This had to be written about his wife, Amy Grant.
Always been a gorgeous song. Just beautiful. Such a talented writer. If you find an album called "The Early Years" that recorded version is also beautiful. 🙂
i came to appreciate gary's music in the 90's. he is soo talented but tragically everyone knows him for who he was married to the first time. i need to say no more on that.
wow, I think this is the best version I ever heard….
This is probably on of my favorite songs of his.. I'm not a fan of country music at all but, this is awesome !! thank you for the video
@jwxtol Give it a rest, troll.
@jwxtol That happened 5 years ago in 2006. No need to dig it up now.

Great song Gary
AWESOME Song! Is this considered Christian or Country Music? I heard this song tonight for the first time on PandoraDotCom. Thank you Pandora or I probably would have NEVER heard of this GREAT song! 🙂
Fantastic song & writer. Great version. I never knew he wrote this. He does a great job on it.
What a quandry love is. That's how foggy & confused one can get when making "that" biggest of all decisions. The decision of a lifetime. I'm glad 'my heart made up my mind' to choose the wonderful woman I have been with for over 26 years now. Thanks for staying around Deb. And thanks for posting this.
