The landing field simulates the flight deck of an aircraft carrier to prepare pilots for landing and taking off at sea.

Ya know what's funny is after seeing this plane on the Avengers where it hovers and unleashes machine guns on Hulk, I thought it was legit in production LOL. Until I saw a show about it on Smithsonian channel and found out there's a shit load of controversy and it's only in testing stages. what a shame.
POS enormous waste of money! A10= 11million dollars F35 110-155 million , why not Incrementally Modernize all the bad ass legends like the F/14F15F16 F22 they are certainly better designed than the ridiculous vtol trillion dollar (stealth) garbage vtol shit
too many eggs in one basket. costs too much. will not be able to make enough of them. like Germany in the second world war. It loved to create the best this or that. Only problem was it took too long to build and cost too much. America might have the best planes but they are running out of money and will not be able to afford these in great numbers. Also would you rather go to a GP when you go to the doctor or a specialist. This is a Jack of all trades air plane. Not great ant any one thing. At least the F22 is actually good at what it does, this doesn't maneuver well in dogfight also delicate machine is not the way to go for ground support. The F-16 multi role fighter was good dog fighter and so so ground support. This is not as good. The Harrier is the same thing. At least the Harrier could out turn an enemy this cant do that. The nozzle only swings down. It cant open that top door while flying forward it would rip it off.
I don't think the genius designers & engineers at Lockheed Martin & USAF create obsolete planes yet alone take into consideration information from Reddit readers who comment all the flaws of the plane on YouTube. If the F-35 was being overwhelmed by a previous generation plane why would congress still approve it :/
