All rods are 3/32″ – 2.4mm running close to 80-85 amps
Sorry I had captions on a good bit of the video to help, but they got cut somehow I’ll look in it.

Welding is fun as hell. Sucks when your class mates steal your test pieces and your instructor keeps asking you to take the same test because he says yours is not there = happened to me a whole lot and my brother. instructor Wouldn't let me weld my initials into the piece had to use chalk and people kept taking mine after class putting there initials on it.
Nice cool. Thumbs up
cool, thanks. by the way, great camera work too.
I like what you are doing. And enjoy the vidieos
I was welding some old gates today and put your tips to good use keeping the rod at the same angel much better and welding slower
Also from one of your other videos trying to keep my head back more before I very close
Thanks again
Fascinating. I want to take a welding course, but it looks daunting for a 63 yr old man!….:)
Awesome video. You should get just a bit better lighting but overall great. Good tips on the vertical up. Keep them coming!
Glad I found your videos. I welded with the same Lincoln in Houston in the 80's. Great machine. Had those running all day fabricating and welding pipe in those nasty refineries. I'm looking to get a small electric welder for home. I would like a stick welder. What do you recommend? All welders stick together!
I will emulate the lessons in this video. It seems you weld away from yourself in most cases so maybe I will learn why as I start doing.
Glad to see you putting up videos again!
Thanks for taking the time doing this video really nice and clear
I am going to get some of the rods you where using and get some practice in
Thanks again really helpful and look after yourself
Looks good, brother. Thanks for the video.
What's your back ground? It would be neat to see a shop tour of your dads shop. I think a video on your back ground would be great. Thanks for all your videos
did you get a new camera or better lighting? the video quality looks better
Thank you very much.
are you have done a video of vertical down welding?
What is the best method for good welding of the vertical position?
